Face what isn’t working

In this series, we are taking a moment to reflect on our goals and our progress towards achieving them. We discussed the practice of persistence. This time I want to bring our thoughts to “facing what isn’t working”

You must get out of denial phase and be honest with yourself.

Start with:

  • Are your goals simply too big?
  • Are you lacking some essential skills required?
  • Are you in denial about the amount of support you need?

To be successful, you need to face these circumstances, look for the warning signs, and take appropriate action.

This may make you feel uncomfortable or challenged but you need to face the reality.

Do you need to ask someone for help? Gain a new skill? Get a coach or mentor? Make a plan to fix it?
